Soaring America's
Highways at 65mph!
Cruising this sleek amethyst hued Chevrolet to Ocean City is Klaus Gaubatz of Annapolis, Maryland. A 1935, 2 door sedan standard, this classic gem has plenty of legroom and is equipped with the modern day conveniences of air conditioning and a hi-fidelity stereo system.

Klaus spent his early years as a mechanic for Chrysler, and although he was looking for a Plymouth, he couldn't resist this one, purchased in Daytona 4 years ago. "We've been redoing it a little at a time, suspension wise, engine wise, transmission, and rear end. It's a 350 Chevrolet 700R4 overdrive with a Corvette independent rear suspension, stainless exhaust, and stainless gas tank. The car is all steel, except for the front fenders and the running boards," said Klaus. "It's a very good ride, good on the highway, cruises comfortably at 65."

So as the sun sets in Ocean City, Klaus slides into his Mercury Bobcat seats, cranks up radio, and glides gracefully down America's highways in style.
